We started this project 🚀 in January 2025 📅. Glad that the Global AI Inventorship Handbook 📘 is out now.
Led by the talented 🌟 Bhavana J Sekhar and Kailash Chauhan, Chair 🎓, AI Development Committee, ISAIL - Indic Pacific has launched India's first Global AI Inventorship Handbook 📘, with a brilliant foreword ✍️ by Vivek Doulatani.
This handbook is also known as AIinventorship.com 🌐.
Now what is AI inventorship 🤖?
Well, in Patent Law ⚖️ - this has been considered as an idea whether AI can become an inventor or contribute deeply in making inventions, per se.
That makes the intersection of AI and copyright ©️ absolute fun to explore, in a legal sense.
So what does this handbook offer? Let me tell what it does not provide.
It is not another 900-page long 📚 "AI and Democratic Values Index" which merely collects all AI law and policy documents like Pokemon 🎴 or some anime hero cards 🃏.
This manual is not a mere "AI policy tracker 📊". Except the best trackers by Raymond Sun and The Legal Wire.AI, I have honestly not seen any organisations coming up with a proper Global AI Policy Tracker. Even ISAIL had plans to make a Bharat Pacific Global AI Policy Tracker - but we cancelled our plans for the tracker's irrelevance.
No, this handbook is not some random archive of high-level legal jargons thrown around in a fashionable way. The language is so simple that you'd enjoy reading this handbook. We wish to keep this handbook as a long-term project 🚀.
Anyways, you can now download the handbook on the IndoPacific App 📱.
We are open to know your feedback 💬 on this handbook, if it seems limited.
We will make announcements 📢 on the AIinventorship.com 🌐 project 🚀 in the coming weeks, accordingly.
