Amidst my travels to Bengaluru and Bombay in September 2024, I had fallen sick, unfortunately, and was recovering quite slowly. (Now I am back to normal).
At that time, we at Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law had planned an incredible Committee Session on the Impact of Generative AI on Cultural Preservation on September 29.

Bogdan Grigorescu had recommended this topic, and Shirsha Ray Chaudhuri had joined in the session on September 29.
While I was still reeling, hearing Bogdan cutting through the hype and cultism associated with #AI because of leaders and former 'leaders' of OpenAI was intriguing.
Now, you do not need to agree with Bogdan. However, the way he articulated by explaining how Generative AI dumbs down people and the loss of thinking abilities naturally leads to loss of cultural ideas & things preserved for centuries, is amazing.
