We are pleased to announce our Chairperson, Abhivardhan's participation as a Keynote Speaker in the inaugural session of the One-Day International Conference on Navigating Legal Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Solutions, which took place on March 16, 2024.

This prestigious conference was meticulously organized by the Government Law College, Mumbai, showcasing their commitment to exploring the complex interplay between law and artificial intelligence.

Abhivardhan's presentation focused on the imperative need to standardize and categorize artificial intelligence technologies before embarking on regulatory frameworks in India. He provided insights into the recent developments surrounding the AI Advisory issued by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, highlighting the significant removal of the "AI approval" component in its revised version.

Additionally, Abhivardhan discussed captivating updates related to artificial intelligence and intellectual property law, addressing key aspects such as patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.

Furthermore, he had the privilege of elucidating key segments of the Draft Artificial Intelligence (Development & Regulation) Act, 2023, Version 2, particularly emphasising the classification of AI technologies to foster compliance and protect the innovation ecosystem in India.
