Many people came across and asked about the Membership Criteria at the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law.
Usually, I tell them to find out specific details on ISAIL membership at isail.in/team.
But there were queries outpouring, so let me present this.
ISAIL has transitioned and shaped itself as an organisation so much. In the 2019-22 era, ISAIL was more into building AI policy research with an Indian angle. We succeeded in that - because we developed India's one of the first Handbooks on AI and International Law (2020 Handbook on AI and International Law & the 2021 Handbook on AI and International Law).
Do check the ISAIL Membership Details through this Document.
As of now, we remain an agile industry forum in AI, representing both AI policy professionals, and the Indian AI business/ startup community.
We also welcome Ajay Sharma to the ISAIL Advisory Council, and Sanjay Rohra & Vignaesh Bhaskaran as Special Executive Advisors in the ISAIL Secretariat.
I also announce that ISAIL has joined the BRICS+ AI Alliance as a Founding Member. We are honoured to be a part of the Alliance in its foundations.
While startups and labs are not a part of ISAIL yet, we are finding ways to involve startups, labs and MSMEs become a part of the ISAIL community in a consortium.
This is an open invitation to professionals, students and scholars to become ISAIL members, and join our inclusive committees led by Ayush Chandra, Supratim Bapuli and Kailash Chauhan respectively.
Have a passionate and happy Monday with some blues vibes as well.
P.S.: ISAIL will complete its 5 years in November, and we will have some updates to share as well, shortly.
