[New Research] Artificial Intelligence and Policy in India, Volume 4 (2024)
From Indic Pacific Legal Research
As April concludes in a day and so, here is an important publication from Indic Pacific Legal Research LLP.
Edited by Abhivardhan & Sanad Arora, this research collection, "Artificial Intelligence and Policy in India, Volume 4" is the fourth installment to the Artificial Intelligence and Policy in India series, which we have published since 2020 at the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law.
Access the complete research collection at https://vligta.app/product/artificial-intelligence-and-policy-in-india-volume-4-aipi-v4/
This book series has an interesting history since we have published some incredible papers such as ISAIL's recommendations on the National Education Policy 2020, my International Algorithmic Law paper, and other research contributions.

Volume 2: https://vligta.app/product/artificial-intelligence-and-policy-in-india-volume-2/
Volume 3: https://vligta.app/product/artificial-intelligence-policy-in-india-volume-3/
The fourth volume of AIPI encompasses some innovative research exploration by our former research interns at ISAIL, Harshitha Reddy, Neelangini Tiwari, Sonarekha Ray, Riya Utekar and Krati Bhadouriya.
Harshitha's work explores ethical issues around the use of AI in gaming with clear legal issues on NPCs and processing capabilities.
Neelangini has offered an intriguing exploration of the use of GenAI and Fintech and what legal repercussions may occur.
Krati's paper on AI and Tacit Collusion is quite informative, while Sonarekha's paper in my view was the best paper we could incorporate. We respect her courage to propose an AI-agriculture regulatory proposal. (People can also read AIACT.IN)
At the same time, do read through Riya's infographic paper on OSS and Responsible AI. She is not even a law student, and yet has authored something out-of-scope proving people can evolve and do better.
Also, you will find a special quote on AI regulation by none other than Gary Marcus. Enjoy the research collection. It's all yours as April ends.
Some ISAIL Updates
The Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law has released its Certification Standards for Legal EdTech (Legal Education - Online) Courses and Training Programmes.
We have launched these certification standards considering the drastically deteriorating state of Indian Legal Education, as well as online legal education in India, from all corners.
Any edtech platform that may be interested to attain the accreditation may contact us at executive@isail.co.in.
