My new book is incoming.... soon, and it's all about CDs and AI norms......
From Abhivardhan, ft. Indic Pacific Legal Research
You know - if you remember Moserbaer and the times when compact disks were still a thing in the world, and India - I recall those times, and the way cyberpunk was becoming an artform.
Well, as June has been kind of interesting, July will get even more interesting.
Why? I have dedicated a part of my love towards the cyberpunk aesthetic, and the digital metaversal world to my next book for Indic Pacific Legal Research LLP.
Still, let's summarise what happened in June, making that month interesting:
1️⃣ Both IPLR and the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law announced or finalised some partnerships finalised with emerging players in the tech, law and business spaces in India.
2️⃣ IPLR published its best world-class research ever: AiInventorship.com, aka, the Global AI Inventorship Handbook, ft. Kailash Chauhan and Bhavana J: https://indopacific.app/product/the-global-ai-inventorship-handbook-first-edition-rhb-ai-invent-001-2025/
3️⃣ IPLR also published a strategic manual for legal technology enablement in judicial institutions with Kapil Naresh and Ayush Chandra.
4️⃣ ISAIL hosted its first ever network dialogue with United Nations University's UNU Global AI Network on June 27, 2025 on AI Governance Localisation:
5️⃣ ISAIL welcomed some amazing experts and emerging leaders to its Advisory Council, including Sankalp Srivastava, Vivek Doulatani, Dinesh K Nelamuru, Ankit Raj and others (technically May 29, but still): https://www.isail.in/post/welcoming-new-distinguished-experts-and-emerging-specialists-in-the-isail-advisory-council
6️⃣ ISAIL was represented by me, Deepanshu Singh, and Kailash Chauhan at a UNESCO RAM Consultation on Ethics of AI in partnership with Ikigai Law in early June 2025, which went well: https://www.isail.in/post/team-isail-led-by-isail-president-represents-in-a-consultation-on-ai-readiness-by-unesco-and-india-a
7️⃣ Oh, and wait - we released the Sonbhadra AI Principles - India's first AI principles on social empowerment: https://www.isail.in/the-bharat-pacific-principles/sonbhadra
So many updates honestly.
More to come folks - but yes, sometimes we have a lot to feature and focus on, since we have built trust, credibility and relevance. And if we do not cherish what we have achieved in a positive way, I don't know who would.
There are some interesting updates on the US AI regulation front as well, like how the revised moratorium is still not clear and can be misused by the big tech companies, and Japan has made some interesting legal changes so far.
Stay tuned as things update. :)
