ISAIL Chairperson Abhivardhan and Deepanshu Singh, Distinguished Expert, ISAIL Advisory Council had met Karthik Muralidharan, who holds the Tata Chancellor's Endowed Chair in Economics and is a Professor of Economics at the University of California. The discussions underwent on the sidelines of the 10th Raisina Dialogue, 2025, organised by the Observer Research Foundation and the Ministry of External Affairs, India.
Discussions with Karthik kind of tamed the realities around India's skill and employment landscape challenges.
The associated skill mobility and quality challenges remind us of the intersectional challenges associated with artificial intelligence as to how should we measure a more reasonable impact of AI to the future & evolution of work.
The IMF had also published a similar paper in this regard in 2024.
This discussion mobilizes trust and confidence in our AI Standardisation initiative, the AiStandard.io Alliance.
