India's Draft Data Protection Rules are Now Open for Consultations

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India has come up with a draft of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, and has opened up for consultation to stakeholders of all sorts.
Kapil Naresh has also established a Data Privacy Expert Group under the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law, to invite comments from ISAIL members.
