Okay, let's talk about my #GenAI + #Fintech Moot Problem.
I had drafted a moot proposition for the TMA Pai International Technology Arbitration Moot, 2024 - which was meticulously organised by Manipal Law School, Bengaluru on March 30-31, 2024.
I am glad to say that I was present during the event for the Judges Briefing to explain the nuances of the moot proposition to the Arbitrators. I am glad to say the Arbitrators found the moot proposition intriguing.
I was felicitated as the drafter of the moot proposition by Justice Hemant Gupta (Retd.) during the launch of the moot court hall by MLS. He also found the moot proposition unique, randomised and intriguing, as I am told.
I also congratulate the winning team comprising of Vansh Ved, Harshvardhan Singh Rathore and Devang Dwivedi, from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. They represented the government in the finals, and I must admit - they argued pretty well on specific grounds, especially on #ExplainableAI and #ResponsibleAI within the scope of international investment law.
I also congratulate the team winning the Best Memorials Award comprising of Itminan Monir Basilis, Md Monirul Islam Hridoy and Ismeta Azim from University of Chittagong. Their memorial was comprehensive, and dense, which is appreciative.
I guess most teams and even the arbitrators loved the moot proposition, because the feedback I received was that the moot proposition was not based on any case law. I am glad that the participating teams found the proposition's random nature intriguing.
