Aditya Jakki is Now Executive Director, Media for The Bharat Pacific
From Abhivardhan, our President
Starting my Wednesday with some humility:
Okay, there is something I am kind of not continuing, but that's just due to work and other reasons.
For nearly 5 years, I've been into podcasting via The Bharat Pacific initiative by Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law.
In fact, we developed 258 videos.
We launched 4 shows - 1 on AI policy and ethics, 1 on geopolitics, and 1 on culture.
It was fun hosting Dr. Jeffrey Funk, Bogdan Grigorescu, Ankit Sahni, Jyotsna Mehra and so so many people.
But now - I am kinda giving myself a decent break from podcasting, and handing over the directorship of The Bharat Pacific Consortium's Media division to my friend and ISAIL's Media and Policy Lead, Aditya Jakki.
Why?
He is better than me in podcasting, has done some of the best geopolitics and public policy roundups.
I wish that his vision shapes The Bharat Pacific's future as a media initiative under ISAIL, so I am letting him lead this one.
I didn't leave podcasting in 2024 because of lack of views and reach. I left it because it bored me, maybe because of the geopolitics influencer wave that culminated during India's G20 presidency. Every paanwalla, every clerk and maybe some delivery guy was now telling "foreign policy".
Honestly, I have better things to do, and while The Bharat Pacific as a brand will exist, I will engage less in the podcasting side, for a while anyways.
Folks, Aditya is an excellent journalist, and an astute policy and economics commentator. Do go to teluguawadhi.in and follow his updates.
