This is a post authored by Mr Abhivardhan, our Chairperson.
Hello everyone, it's hard to believe that we're already one-third into 2024. Time flies, as always!
Recently, colleagues asked me about my research report card, prompting me to reflect on my journey.
I'm pleased to share a snapshot of my law and policy insights (mostly focused on technology law and AI governance).
I've excluded blogs and interviews as they represent smaller contributions in my view.
Reflecting on my 5-6 years with Indic Pacific Legal Research LLP and the Indian Society of Artificial Intelligence and Law, I'm proud of the combined 100+ reports, contributions, and insights from IPLR, ISAIL, and GLA.
While counting my own contributions, I've selected seven that stand out as particularly satisfying to have worked on:
1️⃣ Artificial Intelligence Ethics and International Law (2nd Edition), BPB
2️⃣ Draft Artificial Intelligence (Development & Regulation) Act, 2023, AIACT.IN
3️⃣ 2021 Handbook on AI and International Law; 2020 Handbook on AI and International Law with Mridutpal Bhattacharyya, Dr. SUMAN KALANI and others
4️⃣ Deciphering Regulative Methods for Generative AI, VLiGTA-TR-002 with Kapil Naresh & Yashudev Bansal
5️⃣ Reinventing & Regulating Policy Use Cases of Web3 for India, VLiGTA-TR-004 with Sanad Arora & Akash Manwani
6️⃣ The Policy Purpose of a Multipolar Agenda for India, IPLR-IG-001 with Aditya Jakki
7️⃣ Legal Strategies for Open Source Artificial Intelligence Practices, IPLR-IG-004 thanks to Rohan Shiralkar motivating me for it :P
Take a look at these stats for some fun! Keep in mind, this isn't an exhaustive list of my contributions, as there could be more.
Reflecting on a grateful 5-6 years.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of my major publications.
